Is
there a unifying principle that unites everything in the universe from
the largest galaxy to our cells and DNA? In this ground-breaking
seminar, Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton will take you on a fascinating
journey from the far reaches of the cosmos to the smallest quark,
revealing how understanding the universe as a whole enables us to
understand the principles behind life itself. This new approach is
being hailed by scientists around the world as a new step forward for
humanity. It’s key is to place consciousness at the heart of reality,
which is normally seen as a biological function. With this, cellular
function, cutting-edge physics and new biology emerge and form a new
scientific vision that helps explains everything from black holes to
healing phenomena and even global warming.
We will explore
The limitations of biological science as it currently stands
The implications of the human genome project
The role of consciousness and perception in the cell
Consciousness as fundamental to reality – an implication of quantum physics
The Black Hole Principle – from the micro to the macro
How the new theory helps to understand the nature of life
The implications for disease processes, cellular healing and DNA.

Manjir to join the Hokkaido 7 symposium
What follows is an article by Yasuhiko Genku Kimura from his website Vision in Action reproduced by kind permission of the author
In July 2008, an international group of seven eastern philosophers
and western scientists will meet to reconsider these fundamental
assumptions of western science and begin to propose more appropriate
alternatives for our times, with a long range view toward bringing
western science and eastern science formally into alignment as a global
science.
The dialogues among the participants will focus on the
reconsideration of foundational assumptions of western science: how
each participant sees them, their implications for science and society,
what changes in those assumptions are now in the air among ever
increasing numbers of scientists trained in the western tradition, and
what can be done to publicize this evolutionary trend among students
and practitioners of science and to the international public at large,
since the fundamental stories of science regarding the nature of the
universe, our planet and humanity within that greater context affect
worldviews inside and outside the practice of science as indicated
above.
In a time of need to shift as quickly as possible from unsustainable
lifestyles to sustainability around the globe, we recognize this issue,
especially as concerns the relationship between consciousness and
matter, to have key potential for facilitating that shift. Pending the
success of this initial symposium for seven distinguished participants,
there will be a larger, more inclusive symposium in 2009 and a
continuing public relations campaign to ensure that the issue gets
beyond inspiring conversations and into an effective campaign to enlist
as many like-minded scientists and supporters as possible in the very
near future.

Scientific Research in Homeopathy conference
I feel absolutely honoured to have been invited as a VIP guest to the inaugral Scientific Research in Homeopathy conference organised by the Complementary Medical Association's Jayney Goddard. She is a huge fan of Punk Science so asked me to be present at this high calibre conference that detailed the scientific eploration of homeopathy both from the perspective of theoretical mechanisms and from the trial evidence which was more extensive than I had imagined.I came away more edcuated. An excellent conference. Read more here.
Black Holes all dine the same way.
At last reseacrhers have figured out that black holes behave in the same manner regardless of size. This for them, however should pose a problem because they rely on the physical world to give them the answers to the behaviours of the universe. Therefore, big objects should have big effects. However, when it comes to black holes, it has been found that big and large black holes have the same behaviours - predicted by the Black Holes Principle in Punk Science of course. Read more here.
Orgasmic Birth
The Gnostics believed that our world was born from the ecstacy of beings who dwelled at the centre of the galaxy. Why shouldn't every birth be like that. I was privileged to be at the UK premier of the film Orgasmic Birth which should be a staple of every birthing unit in the world. As an ex Obs and Gynae SHO, I had to be re-educated by the likes of Christiane Northrup MD, just one of the experts in the film who say that birth does not have to be truamatic and painful, but in fact blissful and even orgasmic. Essential Viewing for everyone, not just parents to be. Open minds visit here.
May 2008
Long time no see- where have I been?
First up - the cruise with Connettivi. James and I went aboard the MSC Musica in Venice and did a tour of the Greek Islands and Croatia. It was a cruise with soul and we were taking part in a floating conference. I did a talk that got translated into French and Italian on the spot, and it was a very big success with many people telling me in Italian and French that it was the best talk at the conference! So I was very excited to find that the message of Punk Science translates so well across languages and cultures. Many thanks to Geppo the organiser. May 'travel with soul' continue. Find out more here.
Myself with Elsiabet Sahtouris after her talk
James and myself in Santorini with Musica in the background.
All in all this was a fantastic opportunity to have great dialogue with some of the world's top thinkers and spiritual people with the added bonus of scenery that changed daily. Unforgettable!
An exciting interview I was interviewed as soon as I got back by The Binary Research Institute - Geoff Patino and Walter Cruttenden. They do some amazing work including host an interesting conference callled CPAK. Find out more here.

Science news
Film – journey to the centre of the galaxy
This is a youtube film made up actual telescope pictures of the centre
of our galaxy. When the evidence is displayed like this, we can see the
microwaves and the spiral X-rays being produced by the central black
hole. However, the very last part of the film resorts to fiction by
telling us that black holes have infinite gravitational pull that even
light cannot escape. So why can we see so many things happily coming
out of it and orbiting around it?
After the airing of the interview by New Dimensions Radio, many new people have found this website and given me some excellent feedback for the book. I am also delighted to be joining some previous aquaintances Dan Winter and Valerie for 'Travel with Soul' cruise later this month.
Middleweight Black holes
Those of you who have read the book will know that I give evidence for black holes occurring at many different sizes. This is a fact that is only just reaching some of the scientific community, mainly because it causes the embarassing issue of trying to explain how black holes form, as they got it wrong in the first place. Black holes produce mysterious antimatter fountains from Milky Way It seems that astrophysics is just starting to catch up with Punk Science in wondering if the antimatter produced by the Milky Way currently defying their explanations might be due to black holes. Along the right lines. Read More.
Volcanic eruptions on moon
On the 28th March, New Scientist led with an article confirming that the Earth's moon undersgoes volcanic eruptions and emits light. These are observations that were not taken seriously for many years until someone has collated the sightings are realised that they correlate with each other. Since writing Punk Science, I have often wondered about this. We are told that 'moon shine' is just a reflection of the sun - which always seems so highly patriachal reflecting our society that a woman can only shine in the glow of a man. However these findings show that the moon has a light of its own, as predicted by the Black Hole Principle in Punk Science.
March 2008
I have had a very busy few months during which I have been getting better acquainted with Macclesfield station en route to London and the College of Psychic Studies as well as others.
Conscious Media Network visit
The lovely Regina and Scott Meredith of the Conscious Media Network flew over and landed in Buxton to do some more filming potentially for future projects - keep you posted. A jolly time was had by all. The highlight for me was when Regina did the Argentian Tango in the lobby of the Buxton Opera House. The place will never be the same!

Punk Science predicts galaxy cluster X-rays
Highly energetic X-rays have been clearly observed coming from a galactic cluster by the orbiting gamma ray observatory, Integral. Although the mechanism for the production of these high energy bursts is baffling physicists, this was a prediction made in Punk Science. According to the Black Hole Principle outlined in the book, each galactic cluster will have a central black hole as well as many other black holes which are periodically emitting high energy gamma rays and X-rays, powered by higher dimensions. Discarded Old Timers surprise physicists
Like society's treatment of menopausal women, physicists see old stars as unable to be active and give birth. So a couple of old timers have shocked them, by behaving like young guns and giving off high energy jets. They believe only young stars, which can be identified by their chemical composition, are capable of such energetic activity. They even believe that they are showing signs of giving birth to planets. And so it is with a view of the world that is unequivocally wrong. The universe inconveniently just does not fit the theory. Could it be that a new theory is necessary?
Luckily, the Black Hole Principle, as explained in Punk Science completely agrees with this observation. Old stars as well as new would be expected to be releasing high energy jets and planetary formation has a totally different mechanism from that put forward by conventional physicists. So we no longer have to shove old ideas into new data, nor project societies prejudices on the workings of the universe. Read More.
Jupiter’s eruptions reveal one of the biggest lies in the solar system
We are led to believe that the sun drives all of the processes in the solar system including all of the Earth’s weather. Which is why scientists were so shocked when they observed very fast flumes shooting out from Jupiter at incredible speeds. Jupiter is too far away from the sun for solar power to have wholly driven these powerful eruptions; they are concluding that there must be an internal process in Jupiter which is driving it. What is more, the plumes always come in pairs, the distinctive bipolar pattern of the Black Hole Principle (BHP) as described in Punk Science. According to BHP, Jupiter is actually creating it’s weather patterns from internally driven processes.
Of course, the Earth is also partly responsible for its own weather patterns through BHP. This true mechanism behind Earth’s weather has huge implications of how we view global warming. Read More.

Milky Way cock-up
We are closer than ever before to the centre of the Milky Way. And of course, what is coming out of there - unexplained radio waves. Physicists still barking up the wrong tree actually think that these waves are coming from stellar processes and will be gobbled up by the black hole. If you like a laugh read this.
Black Hole flares baffle scientists
This article is a good example of the flummox you can get yourself in, if you really don't know what is going on with the universe, but guess anyway. Scientists are baffled by flares, sometimes of a high frequency oscillation that occur around black holes. The article describes a how photons could be generating these flares by dancing around a black hole like a roulette wheel. However, another scientist has to point out that this is a black hole and light is not supposed to escape from it! A new physics is called for in this article to explain these mysterious effects. See the primer on Punk Science for an introduction to the ideas that could unwrap the twist in the knickers of astrophysics. Read More.
Black Holes spin at the speed of light
New observations from the Spitzer telescope confirm that black holes are spinning at the speed of light. According to the Black Hole Principle outlined in Punk Science, this is to be expected as black holes are the connection point between this world below the speed of light and the dimensions beyond. It has also been observed that super fast jets are being emitted from the black holes as would be expected from knowledge of the Black Hole Principle, but this is unexplained by scientists. Source of Mysterious Antimatter Found
Antimatter, which annihilates matter upon contact, seems to be rare in the universe. Still, for decades, scientists had clues that a vast cloud of antimatter lurked in space, but they did not know where it came from. The mysterious source of this antimatter has now been discovered — stars getting ripped apart by neutron stars and black holes. Read More.
Hope of solving some of Mercury’s mysteries
NASA’s Messenger Spacecraft is currently flying by Mercury and scientists hope to answer some of their questions about this understudied planet. One of these questions is how is it possible for Mercury to have such a strong magnetic field. The field is similar to that of the Earth’s, only smaller, yet Mercury should not have one at all. The answer to this can be found by examining totally new and maverick theories in science as outlined in Punk Science (see Primer) This states that Mercury creates its own field from a dynamic process similar to that found in a black hole and not from the movement of an iron core, as is the current orthodox theory of planetary magnetic fields. New Online Interviews
Whilst in California in October 2007, I did some talks at San Francisco State University. Kelly Terr, followed up on my visit with an interview for their magazine that you can read here.
I have also been interviewed by the Institute of Complementary Medicine, where I am on the advisory board, about the Richard Dawkins show. You can read it here.
Some Science at last
I have been promising to list some science news headlines like those I have been posting to the David Icke website onto this one.
This article shows evidence of the stength of black hole jets, enough to hit another galaxy. What is nice abotu this one is that the pictures on the right hand side show images from a black hole through all the different frequencies UV, X-ray, visible and radio.
Have you ever just been blown away by something? Every second of my trip to San Francisco in October was just utterly fabulous.
James and I stayed with his friend ( and now mine) Sergio Lub who has founded a website called Friendly favors. www.favors.org We spent 10 days doing interviews, giving talks and meeting loads of amazing people like Dean Radin, Justine and Michael Toms of New Dimensions radio, all the students and staff and San Fransisco State University including Kenn Burrows who asked me over, Marylin Schlitz of IONS, Regina and Scott Meredith of Conscious Medica Network, JFK Holistic Studies director Marilyn Fowler, everyone at the Gateways and Open Scret Bookstores and many more.
The intereviews will be posted up as they are finalised. Sergio took some photos of the last talk I did at the Institute of Noetic Sciences which was orgnaised by himself and James. You can see the photos here http://www.flickr.com/photos/lub/sets/72157602814720372/
The day that I did a talk in Santa Cruz at Gateway books, we also had lunch with Bruce Lipton, which was a lovely surprise.
Strange how things happen, but there again, aren't we getting used to it. James and I were in down town San Francisco looking for a suitcase when I noticed that the music in the shop was the Sex Pistols. After another great track, I commented on the musics and the lady in the shop said that it was her radio show that was playing. So James suggests she interviewed me on the show. What a great idea! Aisha was a blast and a big fan of the Slits. Here I am with Aisha at San Francisco State University studios. http://ksfs.sfsu.edu./ In case you want to check out some good music, her show is called Face the music. This is her myspace. http://www.myspace.com/bowalsh Just goes to show, go with the flow - it might turn out great!
And who says young people don't want to know about science? They just aren't taught anything they want to know most of the time. When I did the open conference at San Francisco State University, the students chose which group they wanted to be in. As you can see the response was huge. James, Jenna and I had to take a group each in the end as we couldn't hear each other! You can just see me pontficating on the right.
I have to thank James, for driving me around and supporting me and also Jenna for setting up so many amazing meetings as well as Sergio and his wife Gaye for being so generous.
David Icke website
I have started writing for David Icke's website as part of his move away from conspiracies to exploring the nature of reality. There is a summary of Punk Science on the website as well as regular input fromt he science world and how it is relevant to Punk Science. So if you want to get the latest update on Punk Science check out the site. I will start to post this content up here soon.
I did a talk for the scientific and medical network Yorkshire group with Max Payne as chair. Got some great questions and comments from physicists and doctors present. Seems I know a bit more physics than I thought according to people's kind words afterwords.
Alternatives, St James
This month, it has been confirmed that I will be speaking at Alternatives at St James' Church Picadilly, London next April.
Bay Area Tour
Had a fantastic time in San Francisco where the Punk Science message was really taken on board. Here is a link to some pictures of a lecture I did at the Institute of Noetic sciences in Petaluma. More pics to come.
Strictly speaking this happened in August, but let's kick off with this. I went down to the main BBC studios in Wood Lane for an interview with the lovely Nihal. And boy did he give me a roasting. To his surprise the phones started buzzing and there was a furore on his hands. People started ringing up to complain and fight with me. A lot were also intrigued by the black hole theories I was talking about. Very good fun!
Harry Oldfield
Professor Harry Oldfield met up with James and myself in Buxton to investigate the PIP scanning system he has invented. We took some very interesting photographs. He is able to do this because he has devleoped a program that slows down light speed so that the information of higher dimensions can be captured by a camera. For more information see http://www.electrocrystal.com/index.html
Dr John Demartini
Had a quick trip to London and back to see a talk by Dr John Demartini who was speaking on Business. Very inspiring. He has endorsed Punk Science and was one of the inspirations for it after I had seen a brilliant talk he did in 2002 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he outlined the quantum physics of emotions. http://drdemartini.com/
Photoshoot
I have some new photos on my website thanks to a genius I kept bumping into around Buxton called Nick Tansley who did the most fabulous shoot. He used to be a celebrity photographer in the 90s and is very talented. The photo on this page was taken by him. I sympathise with models now. Standing on one leg in Vivienne Westwood shoes ain't easy.
Yeva and David Icke
James and I had a wonderful meeting with my good friend Yeva and her friend David in Brighton. David is well known for his conspiracy knowledge, a little less known for his cracking sense of humour and getting to be known for exploring the nature of reality. We did a lot of the latter and had some marathon conversations. As a result we may be working together to bring this work out to a wider public.

When
was the last time you sat under a tree and let your mind go, marveling
at the wonder of it all? Punk Science was born of such an experience,
in which the author sat in an oak tree and attempted to feel the
rotation of the earth.
“Suddenly,” he
says, “I was thrust into an infinity of spinning orbs. In a moment that
seemed to transcend space and time,“… I understood what I now call the
Black Hole Principle. All the pieces of information I had been studying
suddenly fitted together into a framework that is elegant and simple,
but also allows for infinite, emergent complexity. This vision has
formed the basis for this book and is nothing less than a new view of
the cosmos.”
Pretty
powerful claim, that. And all this from a medical doctor with a passion
for putting his vision to work to offer physicists a framework big
enough to hold the all-too-familiar details they wrestle with on a
daily basis.
The early pages launch the
conversation on which the book hinges: is consciousness a result of
chemical (and perhaps other) processes, or is it the other way around?
Moving right into string theory and M-theory, he lays a layman-friendly
foundation for seeing things in the latter light.
“We
have gone as far as we can with the material paradigm,” he asserts. And
then he asks, “Is anybody making those giant leaps of consciousness
that have always taken us forward in science? … We need people who
firmly understand that consciousness is fundamental to the universe:
people who know that the universe is intelligent, because they
experience it as such. Like Pythagoras, Newton and Faraday, they have
the skill of merging their consciousness with the universe in order to
gain insights into its workings.”
Let me
not give the impression he favors throwing the scientific method
overboard. No, it has its place. But that place, he argues, is
after-the-fact—once we have the vision, we must, as Einstein and others
did, use mathematics and experimentation to support or disprove it.
I
found the book an enjoyable and stimulating read. Of course, it
probably helped that I agreed with him from the outset. I learned a few
wonderful things and found that the book left me more able to converse
about what's going on in physics, which in turn brought its own share
of enjoyment. If you like to feel'“in the know” without having to
puzzle things out too much, you may enjoy it too.

Punk Science Inside the Mind of God
Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton
Now this little gem really got me thinking. Within it's 324 pages
were the most interesting concepts I have come across in a long time.
The format is very unique and because of the laid back yet direct style
of the writer I was able to see things in a whole new light. I saw
phrases like "three dimensional reality", and "the black hole
principle", that really got my head to spinning. Thank God for the
diagrams and charts throughout that brought much needed clarity at just
the right time. I would recommend this wise and eye-opening find to
anyone serious about expanding their spiritual horizons. Thanks Dr. for
a wonderful and very intense read.
I also did a TV show with Diana Cooper for Iranian based International channel Press TV. We were discussing angels and I chatted about my experiences with her and she commented that they were pretty strong.
Matara Centre and Out of the Ordinary Festival
James and I did a talk together at the Matara Centre near Stroud which is a fabulous place for spiritual meetings. It is beautifully decorated with sacred objects from around the world. well worth looking at for a venue. http://www.matara.co.uk
I also did a talk the previous weekend at Stuart Mason's Out of the Ordinary Festival which was filmed for the Holistic Channel. So a tent one week, a beautiful centre the next. You never know what is next with Punk Science.
August 2007
Lots of things happening this month. Just got back from the Big Green Gathering and Hourne Farm, both of which were fantastic.
Waterstones
I'm going to be stocked in Waterstones from this week as well as featured on their website as recommended.
Radio Look out for forthcoming appearances on High Peak Radio (20th), C4 (20th) and the BBC Asian Network (30th).
More news as it comes! More news - Sold out all over Manchester in the first week of being stocked in Waterstones!!
Becoming an enemy of reason
In true punk tradition I find myself being hated by establishment figures. Dawkins fans all round the world are, as could be predicted, having a ball talking about the programme on C4. Due to the fanatical nature of the Dawkins followers, they buy anything associated with their idol. This has hugely boosted sales as they look for more books to burn. What fun!
July 2007
BBC Radio Leeds
James and I went up to Leeds to the BBC studios for an interview with Shourjo Sarkar which was great fun. The show was not recorded unfortunately. Afterwards Shourjo gave us a tour of the Look North newsroom and we even got to sit ont he big red sofa!
The House of Lords
As I am an advisor to the Institute of Complementary Medicine http://www.i-c-m.org.uk/ I got invited to a Strawberry Tea at the House of Lords this month. This was to attend a presentation on The Village Well, a new social enterprise for London. http://www.i-c-m.org.uk/about/village. After clotted cream and scones, we mingled with champagne by the Thames. Great fun! James and I went on the London Eye afterwards.
Cherie Booth QC
In the dying days of Tony Blair's stint as Prime Minister, James and I got to meet Cherie Booth, his wife in one of her many roles as an all-round decent person! Not only is this woman a humanitarian lawyer, she is a mother of 4 children and a supporter of many causes. We met her at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards at the Hyde Park Hilton. We had a chat about Punk Science - she is really interested in spiritual things.
This is a picture taken with her at the event.

Talk review
Amazing what you can find on the internet. Here is a review of the talk I gave at Beltane Bash in London in May by someone who was there.
The Grand Unifying Theory of all esoterica including SCN. ------ Science! Grey raining bank holiday weekend in London. What to do? So I went to a pagan Festival. http://www.paganfes tivals.fsnet. co.uk/paganfesti vals.fsnet. co.uk/prod01. htm All rather delightfull, Elves, Fairies, Magicians, witches and much music and dancing. Smile
But one talk was an incredible theta event.
Dr. Manjir Samanta Laughton. The Goddess and the Atom: Science and the devine feminine?
She was a bubbly diminutive indian Lady who burst into laughter at the slightest excuse, making the audience do the same. Such affinity in the gathering.Smile
She is a medical Dr, not a physicist, and first proceeded through the history of science from Newton, via Einstein to quantum theory, taking in string theory, and elegantly and delightfully handling all questions on esoteric scientific knowledge including those from an extremely knowledgable mathmatician.
Then there was her own theory on black holes. As so often in research co-discovered almost simultaneously by others.
Very simply quantum theory supports the idea that it is conciousness that creates the universe, and one may consider that the main body of theta, akashic records or whatever, and the little rivers running from it( us?) are quite consistent with quantum theory. As is action at a distance. ( spiritual healing, telekinesis, etc) A beautifull analogy given was that of the brain and a mobile phone. We know when a friend rings us he is not in the phone, and that the phone is merely a transducer that allows us to access the information.
Then it seems Black holes are all over the place and also it seems in the bodies Chakra points. And apparently gamma radiation and electrons can be detected outflowing from them!
The " Event horizon" becomes the perception horizon,
and per quantum theory, photons often split into matter- antimatter, and the antimatter becomes part of whats beyond the perception horison in the black hole and the matter streams outward in this physical universe. And inside the black holes is a mirror of our physical universe but reversed. The feminine/masculine principle. But in truth its about divinity. But accessible by conciousness, or theta. And it all works by spirals and the fibunaci series. Found throughout the universe.
Seems like some of the finer mechanics of the factors? And strangely this data can be found in Gnosticism who probably got it from Egypt and the Kabbalah.
I bought her Book " Punk Science". For those wondering if I've gone of with the faeries and elves, we had a preview. She is about to go lecture on these matters in some Californian universities. I gather those dealing with physics ......
Didn't pay them. Honest.
My travels
I went trucking it around Brighton with James GG in May for a rather wet hols. Seems to have rained in the UK ever since then. Met with some rather spiffing friends. They are doing such interesting things at the moment.
Like Nikki Williams of Third eye Vision productions. This power house of a lady is continuing the project www.timeofthesixthsun.com/ which you have to check out if you haven't already. Although I am no longer in the trailer, I will be on the final DVD taling about something or other.
Met up with the incredible Story Waters with Lee Harris. Such nice lads! So nice in fact they are giving away some goodies including audios and free e-books. Click on the link below to get your hands on them. (The goodies I mean, not the lads.)
The LBC radio Psychic show appearance on 4th May was great fun! If you
missed it, it is available as a podcast, but you will have to sign up
to subscribe to it. http://lbc.audioagain.com Nicking craze grips nation
Had a great start to the month with an interview with LBC radio on 4th May. The nicking Punk science craze continues with Psychic show presenter Becky Walsh's copy being nicked by her friend who would not give it back. Co-presenter Chris's copy was now her only life line. In case you missed the show, scroll back up the page to media and click the link to the podcast section.
This
is nothing less than an amazing book, bringing together all the latest
research and theories of quantum mechanics, relativity, string theory
and consciousness investigations to paint a picture of the universe
which some of us have an inner knowing exists, but which many 'old
school' scientists – and our culture in general – resist. With an ease
of style that does not require years of post-graduate research to
master – actually, the author has a charmingly simple and clear turn of
phrase – Samanta-Laughton describes a universe that is connected at its
most fundamental level, rich with awareness and pulsating with energy,
even in the deepest depths of the cold spaces between the galaxies, and
seamlessly joined by the underlying unifying force behind everything we
know, are, or have experienced: consciousness. This book will be
unsettling and troubling for those who need an old fashioned,
mechanical-reductionist view of things and people as being separate;
but for those of us who know or suspect that everything is really
joined and that all really are one, this is a book that confirms and
underpins that awareness. And it is not 'New Age' at all, but a work of
popular science – only, the science is telling us things known by
ancients and modern mystics, and now being rediscovered by the latest
research and theoretical work at the cutting edge of physics,
cosmology, brain and neuroscience explorations, and consciousness
investigations. This one brings together everything from mediumship to
black holes. Outstanding and a must-read.

Healing DVD
I get asked a lot about my healing training with the European Institute of Plexus Bio-energy. Although huge in Ireland, Plexus has not been focused in the UK for a few years. Now teamed with the originators of the system, The Domancic Method, Michael visited the UK to train therapists recently and I met up with him.
As a resut, I watched the latest DVD on the therapy called Think about it. It is very good as an introduction to Bio-energy and contains scientists discussing such principles, including Dean Radin of What the Bleep- down the rabbit hole fame.
Almost missed this month due to the amount of general hecticness. The book has been getting into the hands of the very scientists who inspired some sections which is very weird. They are now emailing me with comments. It is like some international, open peer review. Also I am now getting recognised in the street with people waving yellow and pink books at me!
The Punk Science nicking craze
The Nicakable factor is on the rise. People keep nicking copies from friends/family. I do advise if this affliction happens to you then you must shout, 'Oi! Get your own, you scummy handbag!' If this does not work then, tough. You will just have to wait to get your copy back. *

That Indigo article!
Somewhere around the globe is showing the
documentary I helped TV company, World of Wonder to make called "My
kid's psychic". It follows some kids and their parents as they discover
the world of indigo children. Although the world of these new kids is
very real, I am still not sure about the value of lugging the subject
around the media. I got involved with this a while back when I put
together a series of conferences on Indigo and Crystal children with
artist, Kim Major. I am really proud of these conferences. They were
aimed at a certain segment of people and children. To the general
public it can all seem a bit hooey. As a result I also got a bit of a
ragging from writer Jon Ronson who reported me as saying a child did
not have ADHD before I'd even seen him. Like I would!! Anyway, this
Guardian article is creating a stir on a few websites due to the
popularity of the this subject and this author. The conference website receives over 25,000 hits a month even though there are no more events. Go figure! http://www.childrenofthenewworld.org.uk I did get a really good write up in the Sunday Express on this subject which led to me interviewed by.....
Richard Dawkins
I
was interviewed for a C4 documentary by Professor Richard Dawkins of
Oxford University last September. It was for a series that supposedly
follows Dawkins as he goes on a trail to find some substance behind New
Age topics such as healing. The whole thing was so weird because I
was such a fan when I was younger, before my kundalini experience at 18
years old. I thought he was the hero and people like me were bananas!
The experience of being a teenage skeptic puts me in good stead now as
I know how skeptics think.
Anyway, I had a great time. They
could cut the whole thing to try and make me look daft, but I really
enjoyed our chat. The show is called something like 'Enemies of
Reason'. Apparently that includes me! It might be shown in April
although I haven't been told final dates.
Update- It seems this may be shown late summer.
Spring is in the air!
Hello from sunny Buxton! A lot of people are feeling movement happening in their lives at the moment and I am no exception. I have literally been moving up and down the country for lots of exciting projects on the go right now with my partner James.
Top scientists get punked!
There has been really good news on the book front too with it getting into the hands of some top scientists.
Cosmology news
The latest edition of Scientific American has a good article on the current status of confusion over black holes. Astrophysicists have no idea why the emissions are so strong from the centre of galaxy clusters. The interesting thing is that the central black hole of a galaxy cluster emits sound. This really is the true Big Bang - the sound of creation.

You can have me in your home now!
I'm also appearing on myspirit radio this month. If you missed it, don't worry you can catch the archive. http://www.myspiritradio.com
Reviews of the book are coming in. A lot of people are coming back to buy another copy. Here are a few things that the punters are saying
"...a truly remarkable and inspiring book"
"Am finding your book a fascinating read and have bought a second one for my daughter. When I have finished this one for now,(I will want to dip in again and again), I will pass it on to my sons to read."
"...I could not put it down. Please keep writing - the world needs your message."
So glad the book is touching people. It has been a long, long journey but I am happy to say that the book is no longer just mine. It belongs to everyone now. People make of it what they want and get what they want. I set out to write for the non-scientist, to really reach the people and so far it is succeeding. Although this book is a scientific revelation, I find it so amazing that people who normally have nothing to do with science are writing to me in this way. If you want to write to me to share your thoughts please do.
January 2007
Well you can't really miss me at the moment. I'm in the current
Resource magazine, Paradigm Shift, Kindred Spirit, Positive Health,
Healing Today and the journal of the Scientific and Medical Network.
Thanks to all of those publications and Kate at O-books for doing such
a good job.
Author Richard Seymour has been spotted reading Punk Science. Richard and I wrote our books together, helping and supporting each other through the process. His book is a fantastic philosophical novel about Eric who finds himself dead and in heaven without a members’ pass, hence the novel is called ‘Members Only’. Eric enters heaven having found a gold pass in the loo, not realising that it belongs to mafia boss, Carmine Craxxi. Eric and Carmine’s adventures lead them both down a path of self-discovery as they negotiate the vagaries of heaven.
This novel is as hilarious as it is brilliant and satisfying. I truly think the world has discovered its PG Wodehouse for our current age of enquiry. Richard’s website is www.richard-seymour.net and his myspace site is www.myspace.com/ericlaydead.
The Time of the Sixth Sun
This is a fantastic film in the making about changes that are going on right now on this planet. It is being made by filmmaker, Nikki Williams who interviewed me for the film last year. Watch the trailer on the website www.timeofthesixthsun.com/. Although people who know me know that I don’t believe there is anything to fix about the planet, this is still a good project that will bring a warm and fuzzy feeling to many in the mode of What the Bleep and The Secret. Check it out and support it if you can.
